Nate + Camille

Let me start this story by saying this engagement has set the bar PRETTY high

Obviously it’s about the person you’re asking to marry you and the joy of entering into something so special together where the location shouldn’t matter that much... but man, in this story EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.

It started a couple weeks ago when I drove by Nate to get some coffee in Amsterdam after I had finished a newborn shoot. He told me about his plan to ask Camille to marry him, and we started to think of how we could make it as beautiful as possible. After a few different ideas we heard of a coming snowstorm and immediately changed the plan. New plan: Nate and Camille were going to drive to Amersfoort just to get some Taco Bell, for reasons that are obvious. While walking through the city he guided her to the spot we had talked about (where I was awkwardly taking photo’s of trees) and he popped the question, while the snow was falling and the beautiful old city was covered in a white blanket.

Seriously guys, we had such a great time walking through the snow, getting hot chocolate, chilling by a fire, picking up one of Nate’s best friends to come celebrate, jumping through a winter wonderland forest and eventually ending it all with sweeeeeetas tacos.

For real, what else do you want?
